Very pretty fish! I love the markings, I hope he keeps them :) Very nice conformation too, definitely a great looking ryukin :)

Thank You! Andy brought this fish up from young and reckons its kept its colour well so far! So, fingers crossed it'll stay this way.

I can't wait to get it in the proper tank so I appreciate him better!

I spoke to the owner before the fish arrived about adding salt for the QT period, he reckons that the fish is fine and that it wouldn't be required. Does this mean that I could put him in the main tank now?

I wouldn't risk it to be honest. keep him in QT for a couple weeks - if he has anything, it may not show until a few weeks in! better to make sure he's disease-free than to plop him in with the others and risking contamination of, say, ich. :)
