Susan, I don't see ich, but I do see evidence of septicemia and really deteriorating fins. On the one orange fish, it looks as though there could be a lot of bacterial spots. I wonder if it's worth doing one salt dip to strip slime coat, followed by 0.3% salt + Prazi (not the Prazipro so that you can do 0.3% salt).

Edit: I went back and blew up the suspicious pics on my phone, and in the 3rd pic it does look like ich :(

Salting to 0.3% is now a must.

Susan, they have all the same symptoms as your other fish. I definitely see ich, red splotches, and deteriorating fins. It is not good. IMO you should begin to treat the veils in the same way you've been treating your other fish for their ich and red splotches.

i definitely see ich too. sorry susan, but it looks like the routine needs to follow here aswell.. that orange veil has ich all over it. one of your fish has sores on the belly from either bottom sitting or floating upside down being pinned to the top.. either way, your veils have ich and it may have been when you dipped the net from last week in the veils tank after having used it for the others.

Ok,here we go............... I have done 4 40% w/c's today-that should be enough,right?

-have just added .1% salt.

what now? salt dips? how much? The really sick guys I did 2.5% on. The pond guys got 3%. what shall I do for these guys?

Jen,you DEF see ich? I thought I saw in some of the tail pics too. I just salted to .1%-it's def. making them stir.is that indicative of ich?

Yep I see it too. I agree with Sakura and do the same treatments. Look at the tips of their tails, hard to see what it is there. Go ahead with what dnalex said and use salt hun.

i think they're strong enough to endure the salt dipping susan.. in an effort to rid them of as much ich as possible as soon as possible, i would recommend it. i think posting water params again will be a good idea.

I agree - and a new set of params would be a very good suggestion. :exactly

No,no Helen-I don't have a prob w/ dipping them-just how strong the solution % . it was 2.5 for the weaker fish before-and I'm thinking that again?

how do I need to do this? do i need to get them out of that tank and PP bomb it b4 i dip?Or can I start dips?

current params:

am-.25

ni-0

na-10

ph-8.2

Thank you :) Anyone know the answer to the q about needing to pp the tank now? It seems to me it would be more beneficial to do the dips now-lots of w/cs in there today.anyone agree?
