Thank goodness indeed. He was my 12th addition to my 50 gallon tank at the time, before I started reading up on how to take care of goldfish. I had bought the previous 11 all at the same time after deciding to revive the family aquarium. I read that having one black goldfish along with your others would be good for feng shui and regretted not buying one. I went to a mall to buy my mom a phone as a gift, and then decided to check out a chain store nearby. I saw Franklin, thought he was black (couldn't tell bronze from black back then haha) and ended up coming home with him. By the time I was knowledgeable enough, I had lost about 4 of them. I then decided to re-home the others while the rest had grown big as well, but all died eventually. Franklin is the last from that 'first batch' and is now the elder statesman of the tank. :)

Thank you for all the compliments! :)

Thanks everyone! Just got back from Bicol province wherein I got to swim with a WHALE SHARK. HUGE HUGE fish. The biggest of them all. I was just in awe. It's been 4 days since and I still can't get over it! Will link the video here once my girlfriend uploads it.
