It was like a scene from Jaws

Recommended Posts

So tonight I was feeding my ADF and betta some bloodworms, and I thought to myself, "Self? I have so many of these left over and it seems like such a waste to throw them out. I wonder if the goldfish would like them?"

Yes, indeed they did enjoy them. I thought there was going to be bloodshed.

I feed my goldfish bloodworms on a regular basis, though not as much as my other fish.

This was their first time. I think those things must taste like candy, but I'm not about to try one to find out.

My goldies LOVE LOVE LOVE their blood worms. They get them several times a week :)

Yeah, what I thought when I saw the topic title was "Did you feed them?" :rofl

All our fish love blood worms, or any frozen food for that matter. But I think blood worms are their favorites :D

Yep, bloodworms are a hit with my goldfish too. They get them about once a week. What REALLY sets them off, though, is Dungeness crab. I'm a crab-aholic and if I have it for dinner, I give some to the fish too. (The Dungeness season officially opened this week, woot!) Drop some of THAT in the tank, and it's less like a scene from Jaws and more like Piranha 3-D.
