Help soaked flakes are falling to bottom be4 fish can eat it.

Recommended Posts

I had my goldfish for around two weeks.

I feed them tretrafin goldfish crisp.

In the beginning I put the dry flakes directly into the tank and the flakes would float and the fish would gulp the food at the water surface.

Then one of my fish had a floating problem.

Now I soak the food in a glass (with aquirium water) for a minute and I dump the water and flakes into the tank.

Only problem is 50% of flakes fall to the bottom (I have pebble rocks at bottom) before the fish can eat them.

Your fish will find the food. It might take them a little while to catch on but they will find it. I only feed sinking foods and my fish have learned to forage for food along the bottom of the tank.

That is what it is suppose to do. They well figure it out and eat it all up.
