We Have Babies!

There I was gone for a while for a family emergency and when I came back the UV light on my pond finally cleared up the green water. And lo and behold there are about 20 to 30 babies in there! And not just little ones, but bigger ones, too. I"m so glad I can finally see my fishies again!! And Goblin my bristol Shubie could not deny fatherhood even if he wanted to, because they all look like daddy! :D

I"m so excited! I"ll try taking some photos this afternoon.

Now I have to doubly watch it when I use my pond vacuum...

Kind of getting panicky. I was feeding them this morning and there must be more like 40 or so in there! Hope they know when to stop! Not getting another pond so I have room for all the babies.lol

Took some photos and will upload them in the morning. There is a lot of algae floating on top that the UV killed off I think, so I better do a thorough cleaning of the filter asap...

Here is a link to the photo I took. Hope it works. I post photos so rarely I have to learn it again everytime.

Not a very good photo, but those are a few of the babies:

I know, seems like there are like 3generations in there already! But I did have really green water for about 4 months, so they can"t be older than that. Now with the new UV light I can finally see everyone. Everything from about barely 1 inch to about 3 1/2 inches. Can"t stop sitting out there and staring into the pond.lol
