Regular Member dnalex Posted July 11, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted July 11, 2011 I'm not sure if this helpful, but I use 1 tablet for each of my gel batch.
Regular Member lynda441 Posted July 13, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted July 13, 2011 Well, acidophilus is just an aid for digesting food. Just like we don't NEED acidophilus to digest food, neither do goldfish. It's just a nice additive to help them with their digestion. It's great that you're thinking about it and, quite frankly, I never even knew that it comes in different strengths. I'd just say that, as long as you're adding some amount of lactobacillus, that's what's important. But, as far as how many tablets to add, I don't know what point might become an overdose, but, whereas goldfish are so small, I'd say just go with the standard recipe amounts and just use one tablet.
