A Ryukin is a fancy goldfish it should be compatable with your Oranda. Keep both fish in the 29 gal with both pumps on it. Thats why I bought you some salt. It will be easier for you to have only 1 tank running and then you only need to test 1 tank instead of 2 tanks.

Are you going to put both fish in the 29g?

It would be easier and cheaper on test kits and salt if you put both fish in the 29 gal together? You will need the filtration of both filters to cycle the tank. take it from me I have 10 goldfish

you need to quarantine both of these fish. if your oranda is healthy, adding the ryukin in the same tank could potentially get both sick. I would put one fish in a 10Gal and the other in the other 10Gal. You have 2 10Gals right?

Then you must use a product called Prazi and salt them for one month. if in a month they are still healthy they can go together to the larger tank. :)

Thank you for listening. It will be easier for you to deal with.

Put both filters on the 29g. In the filters you only have media righ no carbon??
