Boog & Fraggle Pics!

Both are looking great. :) Fraggle is the sweetest little fish. So cute, and races to the top when I'm dropping gel food. I have to feed Boog a HUGE chunk to fill his big mouth, so Fraggle has a chance to get his share. hahaha

Thanks Fang :) I don't think Boog is done growing either! One solid fish! And his Ryukin-ish hump is more pronounced. Fraggle has grown a little too.

Boog is probably a little over 1 year old, and has not changed colour at all. :) We'll see with Fraggle.

Did you check out the before and after pics thread? Over time, you may be surprised.:D

James, it's most definitely true that goldfish can & will change colors. However, there are certain colors and patterns that are quite stable and will stay true. The red/white coloring & the calico pattern happen to be two of the most stable that I can think of. So, while there may always be surprises, my bet is that they'll stay that way :)

:) Thank you!

To really get a sense of how much Boog has grown, here is a photo of him in the center of my glass ornament. Now he spans, nose to end of tail, the outer edges of it in the same position!!

This was taken in October 2010.
