Not to worry it has happened to us all here ! You are in good company. Regular Member austinado16 Posted November 28, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 28, 2010 Yeah, large tanks are fun aren't they? Lots of room for swimming and habitat.
Regular Member sasha Posted December 16, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 hi changed my mind again, been to lfs and seen a fish tank, its 180 litres about 47 gallons, sits on a lovely wooden cabinet. so how many fancy goldfish at most should i put in this tank. Also what size of filter should i be looking for and lighting. lol ive been window shopping and on the net for tanks.
Regular Member Chrissy_Bee Posted December 16, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 I would not put more than 4 fish in there. As for the filter, you want 10xgph, so something that pumped at least 470 gallons per hour. Lighting really doesn't matter much to goldfish unless you add plants, it's more of a personal preference.
Regular Member Hidr Posted December 16, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 I would keep no more then 3. Gives you wiggle room if one turns out to be a really big one and if you have to skip one of your weekly water changes.
