Regular Member molbert73 Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 So I am currently doing the prazi treatment in my tank. On the schedule I am supposed to add Prazi today and that is it. Can I also do a water change today? Being a neat freak and the fact that this is a newer tank I would feel better with some fresh water in there.
Regular Member enesta Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 According to the directions, you're supposed to do as large a water change as is practical before adding the first dosage.
Regular Member Captain Findus Goldfish Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 yes it is much better to do water changes - it also allows you to suck some of the eggs out.
Regular Member molbert73 Posted November 27, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 Thanks! I am doing this schedule. http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/86781-prazi-pro/page__p__986943__hl__%2Bprazi+%2Bschedule__fromsearch__1#entry986943 Is this the correct way?
Regular Member enesta Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 That's what seems to be what most people do. The problem I find is that with an uncycled hospital tank I need more water changes than that, so I'm trying an every 2-3 day dosage that someone else recommended in a thread.
Regular Member shellbell4ever Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 yes do your usual w/c (the larger the better with through vacuum) then add prazi as directed for your size tank
Regular Member Captain Findus Goldfish Posted November 27, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 27, 2010 I just add the prazi once a week. it is active for 3 days - so after 3 days I do a w/c and also before I add the following dose 4 days later
