What Kind Of Goldfish Is He?

Sometimes looks can be deceiving, but from what I can tell you have nine fish in there. Eight are singletails which means they alone need a 160 gallon tank...not to mention that beautiful fantail at the very least needs her own ten gallon. I would love to know what your nitrates, ammonia and nitrite are testing.

He looks like either a fantail/comet cross, or a fantail with a tailfin that would usually be considered a defect. I once had an orange goldie that was very similar in appearance.

As the others have said, your tank does appear quite crowded. With all those fish, it would be best to have a tank in the neighborhood of 180 gallons or more. I have 3 single tails in a 46g tank and even that is a bit cramped.

I agree with the others. Goldfish are very messy fish :o and grow very big, so an upgrade in size is a must. At the very least each fish should have atleast ten gallons of space.
