Regular Member ashlee18 Posted November 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2010 Raw is best. It has the most nutrients.
Regular Member Sakura Posted November 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2010 If you feed it raw isn't it too tough for them to chew up? I have blanched spinach before and then also ripped it into small pieces for them to eat easier. They loved it!
Regular Member Captain Findus Goldfish Posted November 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2010 I also have to blanch my spinach for my guys. I leave it on boil for about 10-15mins. THis way no risk of silly ones choking etc. Spinach is fabulous! Never tried Kale.
Regular Member number20121 Posted November 20, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2010 Ok, I guess I'll blanch them for a few minutes. I heard kale is very good for them as it is high in calcium, which is also fabulous for Speedy and Lulu (the snails). Thanks a lot!
Regular Member nicoleauryn Posted December 16, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 After blanching, should it be ripped up and thrown into tank, thrown into tank whole, or use a veggie clip?
Regular Member kukana d Posted December 16, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 I put both of those in my gel food Blanching also gets rid of any nasties that may be present
Regular Member number20121 Posted December 16, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2010 I personally just put them on a veggie clip. I got a video of them all having spinach that I posted here a while ago.
