Regular Member blackteles Posted October 22, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 22, 2010 Well, I had to euthanize Snow today after losing Hamlet a week ago...one of my RG telescopes, what a difficult thing to do. She's had progressively worsening SBD and it's finally got to the point where she was so weak that she couldn't even swim for her food, and she didn't have the strength to swim away from the filter intakes. I knew it was coming...she just kept getting worse and worse, and I knew it couldn't be helped or prolonged. Luckily the rest of the herd is doing fine and I know they'll hang in there for me. I read how Susan said it was so difficult to euthanize, and believe me..IT IS. It's been a fun nine months, Snow, I won't forget you. Aloha little friend! Snow when she was feeling good... Snow checking out the new kid... Snow in Hawaii Snow in Hawaii
