Here are a few pics that I took at the Fredrick Meijer Gardens when I was there for the Dale Chihuly exibit. I was really taking pics of the glass and it only shows about 1/10 of the pond. Maybe I should go back and take some more :)

Enesta, go back! The Koi pond is AMAZING! It has always been my favorite part of the gardens. The Chihuly stuff is there till the 31st.

I do plan on heading back as it's only 10 minutes from my house. I just need to get my sister to bring me as her guest (she has a family pass) as it's quite expensive to go and when I know that I can go for free...

The colored balls are glass. There is a Dale Chihuly exibit throughout the entire gardens and in all the ponds they have put some of his stuff. It is AMAZING!

This was really cool in person. Apparently they have to trim all of that grass by hand so they don't damage the glass. If I remember correctly there were over 500 of them.

All the sculptures are glass or acrylic. There are tons of them. Sadly the exibit is done tomorrow :( Meijer gardens is beautiful without the Chihuly stuff though.

Maybe it will come somewhere near you. Pretty sure that it is traveling the world.

I agree, absolutely stunning!! The colors and designs. LOVE them. And they actually look good in nature which some other sculpture works just do not.

That close up shot is breathtaking. Very wonderful :)
