Regular Member ashv20 Posted October 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 1. leave a small container of water in the garden. 2. check 3. blood worms; 50 or so I know there is a risk of parasites and such, but I just thought this was pretty awsome when I found them all the other day; Lucky my betta certainly enjoys the live ones. (Even though I risk spreading dengue fever ) /endramble
Regular Member ashlee18 Posted October 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 Well this is actually illegal in some states in the US. So if you do it, don't tell anyone

Regular Member Lupin Posted October 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted October 20, 2010 There is no risk of parasite transmission doing that as long as there are no fish or stray amphibious animals from other bodies of water to trespass that. The downside is there is a good chance we also end up producing the biting mosquitoes responsible for malaria, dengue, etc. At least, in the tropics like where I also live, that's a very big disadvantage.
