Planaria?

My QT tank has a black background and I have been looking at particles in the water and it is driving me crazy so I did a 99% water change and still have "dust". I finally realized all the dust looks like the same length,3/16ths inch, and super fine hair like and so is this planaria? How do I get rid if it? They aren't moving except in the current. Ok maybe one looked like it wiggled but for the most part it doesn't look alive.

I have an aquaclear 20-30 gallon filter with a sponge AND floss and a tiny bit of media.

I am salting Rog at 1% in this tank to heal raggedy fins.

There could be excess food in there .Are there any ornaments in there? I had an icky planaria problem once and they were all hiding under a dragon ornament I had. I would swish the filter media in tank water just incase.
