Hidr 4,961 Posted August 1, 2010 Lovely l Ponds worry me with fancy goldfish. I would love to have one but it would have to be small and in my neck of the woods they would boil or freeze. I keep saying I could try one of those 50 gallon ones I have seen at the garden shops and put in feeder goldfish or white clouds.

caitie 36 Posted August 2, 2010 I'm so jealous Susan. I'd be on if I could have a pond but apartment life doesn't allow it. Anyways your pond and your fish look great, as usual. Love your pics, keep em coming.
Sakura 500 Posted August 2, 2010 Beautiful Susan, I really do love seeing photos from your pond! I hope to have a pond on my patio or balcony someday too The butterflies are looking gorgeous as always! And where's the story you promised about that other fish in there? I'm waiting! Not so patiently!

seheap 12 Posted August 2, 2010 They look so happy! I especially love the little black/white one! He's so round! Is he a ryukin or a fantail? It's hard to tell from top-view
mardaokansi 2 Posted August 2, 2010 that pond looks like such a great place to live! but one question...what color is this guy/gal? ...it seems, uh, unfamiliar to me. I can't see the eyes, so idk if it's an albino, or maybe a lavender that lost it's color or a shade I've not seen before.
Sakura 500 Posted August 2, 2010 That's a lavender tele with some chocolate markings Martha. I will let Susan tell you for sure, but I don't believe this tele has lost it's color. The lavender color varies between different fish, and it also looks different all the time under different lighting conditions.
mardaokansi 2 Posted August 2, 2010 oh ok. s/he looks peach to me.
kukana d 57 Posted August 2, 2010 Peach would be an AWESOME color! Sakura is right-she's a lavender-w/ a tiny bit of choco. Both of my lavenders out there have lightened up quite a bit this summer. The other 1 has splotches and looks like she's got leprosy or something-it's very strange! This is the 1st summer I've had them out in the pond, and I am hoping it is the result of the summer conditions
