Spot's Big Belly And Her Eye...?

This is the shot that really shows her eye sticking out. I am wondering if she is just imperfect or if it is pop eye?

This shot really shows her fatness. She has been looking fat for at least 6 months.

the belly looks like a fat female i didnt see breeding stars? not sure about the eye tho she looks pretty healthy

I think she is good and healthy the belly is a bit like my fancy, more squarish, apparently that is normal in girls. The eye is also looking fine, pop eye would look more like if the eye was full if fluid behind, like if the fluid was pushing it out.

I don't think she is sick but... you know ...I am just paranoid. No breeding stars, she is my only female.

I think I agree with everyone else. She looks pretty healthy. Maybe gently check to see if her belly is a little mushy or bloated feeling, but if it has been like that for the past 6 months it's probably just the way she is. She's cute btw

I think she's just beautiful I also agree she looks to be in very good health

And having been through Pop Eye myself I think you would know it if you saw it... it's not only bigger but filled with fluid as well I think your safe as far as that goes

You said she's the only female,have any of the boy's been bothering her (following close up her but sometime a small drop in temp (with a water change)will bring on spawning behavior,perhaps she's full of eggs??

i wouldnt worry about the eye hun, just looks like one eye is growing different from the other.... No biggy

I am so glad to hear you all think she is okay because I am highly resistant to setting up the hospital tank:P

I don't really know what variations in belly size or eyes are possible, I think she is a bit of a "tard"

I have nothing to add about her eye and tummy because I also think she looks very healthy, but I had to stop by and tell you that she is an absolute cutie. I love the last picture of her it's adorable.

I think she looks great...the eye difference is very slight and probably just the way she is.

I agree with everyone else as well.. I don't see any cause for concern in any of the pics, and I have a few fish that have a similar body shape.. (I have a Spot too and MY spot DID have bad pop eye at one point!)..
