Only a month? Parameters seem ok, but only a month??????

Did you transfer media from another tank?

Can you check ph every several hours? It could be dropping. That would be a good place to start.

Your nitrates are not high enough to cause this.

I transfered about 10% of the water from my old tank. Also my filter has an extra media slot and the filters running on my old tank were only a week old, so I just decided to transfer those over too.

I tested the water back on Saturday when I noticed this behaviour. The test results were the same but the ph was at 8.2. Right after I did a 25% water change.

Now that I think about it the tank has been running for about 2 months.
