She is quite a stunner. I love their big flat heads, I think the females have a shorter body and the head looks even bigger. Her eyes are very pretty :heart

Thanks yes she is cute!

She's tiny, it will be exciting to see her grow.

I saw her father, and a lot of tiny, newborn siblings, soooo tiny and cute!

It is a bristlenose, (Ancistrus Dolichopterus), albino.

My sons teacher asked my son if i wanted plecs, since she had tons of fry.

When I found out that she had albinos I said yes!

I wanted a female since I have 2 males already, so I had to wait.

But this one has no bristles, so she is a female!

And soo cute, I love the color!

She is in with a tiny male plec, so maybe I will have fry later... maybe......!biggrin.gif

Congrats on the new fish, what a beauty!

I have to say though, when i was skimming through the forum list and reading the subjects it was pretty enticing to see "New Fish, Old Hag" listed next to each other. Sounds like a newspaper article...

:P

I love him. He is very pretty. Are they 100 percent safe with goldies do you think? And do they eat brown algae?

Yes this ones should be safe, and I have never had any trouble.

Yes Flora eats brown algae, the bottom was covered in them! In a few days she had cleaned it out and now the bottom is shining!

She looks great. I have 2 in my goldie tank, how big do they get before you can be sure if there male or female. Mine were about 3/4" long when I got them, Now they are about 1-1/2" long. No signs of facial hair (not sure what else to call it).
