hpsauce 1 Posted July 26, 2009 That is a gorgous fish, such a cute face, congrats. I would be well chuffed if my black oranda ended up that colour. Such a shame about your pond

Lupin 11 Posted July 28, 2009 My black orandas will be ex-black orandas soon as they begin to shift their colors to orange, etc. Nice goldies, Franky.
Jeana727 952 Posted September 22, 2009 How did someone put chemicals in your pond? On purpose or by accident? Either way did they have to compensate you for damages? I think you HAVE to try again! That pond is too pretty to waste!! And it IS a waste not to have beautiful goldies swimming around in there! I can imagine fish slowly swimming around while sitting there in a lawn chair admiring them (with a sub-machine gun across my lap to deter idiots from messing ANY WHERE NEAR IT!!!

dogsbykat 22 Posted September 22, 2009 Until I joined this site, I had no idea that goldfish changed colors, I hope if any of mine change, they do it as beautifully as yours did! Just gorgeous!
~SHAWNA~ 2 Posted September 23, 2009 Whoa! What a huge change!! He looks so pretty. Why not try your hand at some water plants?? If they survive long enough without any nasties being added, then maybe it will be safe to add some fish?? I am totally envious of that beatiful pond!!
Powerdragon 1 Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) WOW! That's a HUGE change in colour still looks awesome! Bad luck with your poised pond, some people just don't have any respect. Edited September 23, 2009 by Powerdragon
Hzleys87 25 Posted September 23, 2009 What a dramatic change! It really does look like an entirely different fish, it's beautiful regardless. I also love your red and white Ryukin- the red is such a strong shade.
Guest bench72 Posted September 23, 2009 You know, I didn't even know that Goldies can change colour... thanks for learning me some You've got quite a lot of really nice fish... including the Moor (which I love but worry about their googlie eyes so won't be buying one anytime soon)
