How Do Ramshorns And Bridgesii Do Together?

Hi!

I have a 2.5 gal with about 20 ramshorns, most of them dime sized with a few newborns. I recieved three bridgesii, and due to some unforseen issues, didn't have time to set up another quarantine tank. Willl they do ok together? The bridgesii are quarter sized, maybe a little less. I don't mind if the brigs eat the ramshorn eggs, I just don't want anyone eating each other.

I also heard a story of ramshorns getting into a brig's shelll and eating him alive and the trapdoor falling off?

Any experience in this matter?

Thanks for reading~ [:

Sadly, I am a snail novice.

Just acquired 5 Brigs, placed in a planted shrimp tank.

The plants had a few "tiny" hitch hikers & am not sure what they are.

A google search did not turn up much either on your question.

I would guess a trial might tell you what they will do.

If they try to eat each other, seperate them.

Link below was a good read.

Mystery snails are fine. Mine are with ramshorns, MTS and nerites. Canas on the other hand, especially juveniles, have predatory instincts so it is not surprising to see them eat the ramshorns.

I have three tanks with a mix of nerites, ramshorns and applesnails in and they are all absolutely fine :D
