thx everyone

I love seeing pics of your fish, especially your commons :D

But what is up with that pom pom!?! :P

yeah Brownie is kinda special, she has a "few" extra pompoms. I guess no one wanted her cuz of that so she was at the petstore for 3 months and I decided to rescue her :) . Since then she's grown about 4 more pompoms, and its only like that on one side :) .

Shamu, does he have any trouble with his vision?

Does anyone know if those can be clipped off? I'm sure it's not a problem for him or you, but can it become problematic if left to grow for too long? I've opted not to get into any fish with growths just because I'm scared that at some point I'd have to perform surgery!

If you do have to clip, how often?

he might have some troubles but nothing too obvious. I dont clip them, and I dont think it would b a good idea. You dont have to do that with any fish, some people do on orandas but I wouldnt.
