Guest LiL sTepHii 143 Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) I dont know what kind of fish the one eye one is ... maybe a ranchu ? It doesnt have a fin on the top. the pond is 20 gallons and its not done yet ( forgot to tell u ) I need to make it pretty. Im going to (not sure) get the rocks and put around but I cant find the rocks the only place I know is Petland and they sell them for 6.99 a pound but the rocks are big and Id be spending 7 dollars a rock. There 5 comets in there . I added my white comet and my gray comet today. They look so happy =]. So in my tank in the house I have my non-comets =] Edited July 14, 2005 by LiL sTepHii 143
Fantail 0 Posted July 14, 2005 I can't really see the one-eyed fish very clearly, kinda blurry. but it looks like a ranchu, are we right?
fondoo 0 Posted July 15, 2005 Growing up my dad had the awesome goldfish, but he gave up on it because it was a lot of work. I decided to take up where he left off. This forum has been a great help on starting my own goldfish tank. I bought a 25gal tank with bio-wheel filter, and rena 300 pump for my beginner tank. Let the water sit in my tank for 2-3 days with the filter running, declorinating the water. Took some water test this morning and everything was all good. Today, I got the chance to purchase 2 beautiful large ryukin fishes.

maniacholic 1 Posted July 15, 2005 (edited) The silence means we're jealous of you and we hate you jk Nice goldfishes, if you give them enough room those two can grow significantly bigger they seem so stress free as of the time being. BTW: you're also from NY? I need to know has there been any problems with breeding in that area? I'm in brooklyn and I'm getting some breeding problems mainly from the male, I was wondering if the same applies to you... EDIT: heh it's nice to know I'm not the only one who picked up this hobby from a generation back my parents are from hong kong Edited July 15, 2005 by maniacholic
