Fantail 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Very nicely done. I love that lionhead as well. And videos are very hard to make the size smaller without sacraficing quality. So that is the way it is guys, even if you compress it, it won't make a very big difference, so waiting is the only answer. Thanks for making this video! I enjoyed it, loved seeing those fish swiming around.

Mariposa 0 Posted April 15, 2005 Awww!! I just love your fishies, Queenie! Moo Moo is such a cute name! I wish you the best of luck and health with your little sweets!
Fishmerised 1 Posted April 15, 2005 I wouldn't seal it off because it's such a big object to be filled with air. I think either fill it all up or drill plenty of holes in the back. Hang on, isn't your tank bare bottom? Hollow ornaments shouldn't really be a problem, just lift it up and put it back everyday before any nasties can build up.

e_glitter 0 Posted April 15, 2005 At http://www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk/goldfish/goldfish.htm they state : the meteor: fish with no tail (although this may be a self-perpetuating rumour; the Website Author has yet to see a photograph of such a fish, either in books or on the Internet)

Fantail 0 Posted April 15, 2005 That is a beautiful tank! Are those real plants, if so, what are they? That is a big tank.
Fantail 0 Posted April 15, 2005 I'm happy to have them, they are so beautiful.
fishrpets 0 Posted April 15, 2005 (edited) The plants are not real they are fakes from the craft store. The handle is hanging over the back so they can just hang down like that. Edited April 15, 2005 by fishrpets
fishrpets 0 Posted April 15, 2005 What a cutie! I love the expression! How did you get your picture on? I tried it but I had to go thru photobucket <_<

Queenie 0 Posted April 15, 2005 Can you take some more pics so we can see them better please? I'll try to take some better pictures. I'm just not very good at it, the fish keep moving too much. I've put them in the 47 gal. tank now with my Oranda and they are doing so well. My Oranda is being so nice. I was afraid Moo Moo wouldn't get enough to eat because he/she is so little, but it is definately a goldfish; knows how to get in there and get that food. Is Tippy a fantail? Yes Tippy is a fantail. Moo Moo is supposed to be a fantail as well. I really like to get them small so I can watch them grow.
Fantail 0 Posted April 15, 2005 I'll try to get some, they move so fast. So it is so hard to get a closeup shot.
