Regular Member Hidr Posted November 1, 2008 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 1, 2008 I had my 30 gallon going and I moved all rocks, water and the filter from it, so it should be cycled but I well keep a check on it.

Regular Member Hidr Posted November 3, 2008 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 3, 2008 Thank you. I am already seeing new plant growth since I set up. My tiger lily for one has a new leaf and two are not up to the surface. My crypts are straighter and not as curly as they were. Even the vals are taller already. This set up has more watts per gallon then the 29 did. The 29 had less then 1 watt per gallon. (Toals 20 watts.) The 55 has little over 2 watts per gallon. (total 102 watts.) Think that is why I have all this new growth. Hope the fish waste can keep up with the plant growth.

Regular Member Hidr Posted November 3, 2008 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 3, 2008 They should. They are already much bigger then when I got them a couple months ago. Twice as big.
