I went to Pet Co the other day and saw the cutest little oranda with a great chubby face. He was totally doing the take me dance and he seemed to be swimming well. When I brought him home I placed him, by himself, in my 10 gallon QT tank. It had a penguin 150 and the ac 20 on it and was making quite a lot of current. He seemed to be having difficulty swimming and then would sort of float in the corner like he was exhausted. I figured it was just the current so I removed the penguin 150. He swims a little better but he still floats a bit at the top. He does look a little bloated so I added epsom salt to the tank. I tried to feed him some peas but he's so tiny that even torn into little tiny chunks they won't fit in his mouth. I did manage to get him to eat a couple of the hikari oranda pellets but he doesn't seem to be eating very well either. Can anybody suggest something to try?
