Regular Member whitner Posted October 16, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 16, 2008 I've been wondering lately how farsighted a goldfish can be. How far can they see through the glass? Coco's tank is about 5 feet away from my bed and sometimes when I make a movement he immediately rushes to the front of the tank (which my bed faces) and starts "dancing" like he thinks I'm going to feed him, so I know he can see me. And if he can see me from 5 feet away, then goldfish must have a good sense of vision on the other side of the glass. Or do you think it depends on the shape of the tank? I wonder how clear or blurry their vision is? Has anyone else wondered these things?
Regular Member Jack of Hearts Posted October 16, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 16, 2008 Actually goldfishes are supposed to be quite nearsighted.
