Do you have a lid on your tank? My mother has a jack russell puppy and she jumps up on the kitchen table!

Regular Member Jeana727 Posted October 11, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) Good Lawd! Does that pup have springs on it's paws?? The tank SHOULD be pretty safe. I would make EXTRA sure there was NO ACCESS to it, of course. AND you can train the puppy the places that are ok & the places that are not right off the bat! Regular Member Smilingfish Posted October 11, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2008 My step daughter has a terrier mix that paws at their turtle tank constantly trying to get to them. Since terriers are natural diggers for animals i.e. rodents, snakes, bunnies, etc. it would be a good idea to keep an eye on your pooch. Just my worth.

Regular Member alexiscool Posted October 11, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2008 22 liters is really too small you need a 75 liters tank for them don't worry just do water changes every three days until you get a new tank a plastic box that is 75 liters will do with a filter that pumps 200gph
