I should think they could eat pumpkin. It would definitely need to be cooked. They would eat the same part that we eat; the meat. Remove all the seeds and guts. Cook it just like you would any other squash; cut in pieces and steam baked in water in the oven. I would serve it with the skin on so you could have something to anchor the meat to and that would hold in the food clip. Just serve a small piece; the same that you'd feed of any other size of fruit or veggie. Pumpkin is fibrous and the fish won't be able to eat the strings, so it could leave a bit of a mess..... but it would be fun to feed I think!
