Guest luli k Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 as you all know my tank is around 16, 17 or 18 gallons,it is a 2 foot tank, anyway, 2 weeks ago i had bought a light for my tank, 2 foot light, plus that light was made for my tank, fit perfically. i have 5 plants in the tank( live plants ) and they looked fine 1 week ago, but now are burnt!!!, i keep my light on for about 8 hours a day, and my fish try 2 hide from the light, can they be burned?, what do i do?, have i bought a light that is toooo strong for my fishies? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have you checked you don't have a stray electric current? Your sockets need to be grounded with a circuit breaker.
