Regular Member OldHag Posted August 13, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2008 When I started up my first tank I wanted lots of gravel and plants. And 4 goldies in a 80 liter tank. Now my tanks looks like this, not beautiful, but lots of space and easy to clean! This is my pleco tank. Here is one of them! Here is my new tank and it's inhabitants! And closeups of my little newcomers! Zorro! And little Yellow, LilFish or whatever his name will be! They have grown a lot! So what do you think, do they look boring?

Regular Member thoughtsofjoy Posted August 13, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2008 I know what you mean about the tanks. I planned on decorating mine to the ends of the earth... now my tanks are bare-- hardly anything in them but the fish! What sort of pleco is that? A bristlenose? Such long bristles!! And I love your lemony fishy.
Guest nimajneb
I don't think there's such a thing as boring. We try to give our fish the best and they give any tank enough life. I can prove it - I bet you smile when you watch them! All nice fish there, I also love the Yellow.

Regular Member shobe_tintin Posted August 27, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 27, 2008 I've just joined this group and was browsing around when i saw your post about your tank... i like the set up of your tank (Bare bottom tank)..ive done it before....but i dont like to see the sight of the fish food all over the bottom of the tank....and as i've observed, it easily gets dirty... so I used an under gravel filter..... Can u give me some tips on what i should do if i want a bare bottom tank? like equipment, cleaning...etc.... Thanks thanks!!!

If you have 10X per hour filter turnover - and that's the minimum recommended - the current should sweep all the crumbs and stuff into the filter.
