Regular Member Hidr Posted August 10, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2008 This was when I first put him in my 29 gallon with the yoyo's. I knew the yoyo's were chasing him some but not a lot and he always got away and would hang out in the plants so they left him alone for the most part. But last night I had to move him. His color was faded and..... Well here is this mornings picture. His color is back but it well be a while before his fins are back. I should of known better but he seemed to be doing just fine. Poor little guy.
Regular Member Chrissy_Bee Posted August 10, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2008 Don't beat yourself up over it too much, at least he'll recover A couple of years ago I tried putting my betta in my community tank. I also thought all was well but in the morning my guppies had hardly any tails left We've all made those mistakes I think.

Regular Member arabpaso Posted August 10, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2008 Yep, we all do that! I put a male betta in a community tank also and found my smaller swordtail dead. Didn't know it was probably the betta until I put him in a different community tank and saw him go after my other swordtail. If I'd of watched him better the first time I would have known he didn't like the ST's. Well, it's just a learning experience! At least your guy should have a full recovery.
