Regular Member vols Posted August 9, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 9, 2008 Hello and I know it has been a while BUT I added to black mollies to my 10 galloon tank and they had babies!! So CUTE but I am scared the female betta will eat them so I moved her yesterday to her old bowl. We now have 11 scampering around top of tank and I need to know if I should put betta back? She loves bloodworms but really doesn't even like the big ones. She likes for me to cut them in half with my nail. She only eats small flakes that I have to crunch up. Also, the parents are pretty protective of them now. They were getting along before babies came and even yesterday morning when I only found 6 then thought 2 were missing (in betta's bellie) so I removed her! What do you think??? Please let me know because I love betta and I don't want her unhappy!!!
Regular Member Chrissy_Bee Posted August 9, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 9, 2008 Actually, the parents could be eating them as well Best thing to do is buy a breeding basket type thing to seperate the fry.
