Regular Member CountryLovah Posted August 8, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2008 I can't answer you but I am curious about the response.. I have one platy and am planning on getting a few guppies. Right now the platy has a filter but no air stone or anything. I feel like someone said they don't like their water disturbed but I could be totally wrong, so I'll be watching this for an answer. And oh yeah. Welcome to koko's!!!!
Regular Member balashark Posted August 8, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2008 The simple answer is no*, it's not necessary, but its definitely a plus. You can get small air pumps and hose for a little bit of nothing. *That's dependent though on the assumption that you have a strong enough filter to sufficiently aerate the water.
