Guest levi250
My black moor still has cloudy eyes and now has fin rot and one of my fantails has alot of white fungus on it. What is a good medication for the fungus and fin rot?
Regular Member Erinaceus Posted August 8, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2008 (edited) There is a box with a bunch of question on the top of this subforum. Try to answer as many of them as you are able to do. That way the moderators and the more experienced members can get a clear idea of your fish's situation and be in a better position to offer advice (otherwise there would be so many unknown variables that they'd basically just be guessing). Regular Member lynda441 Posted August 9, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted August 9, 2008 (edited) I've copied below the questions that you need to answer. That way, all you have to do is to respond to this and you won't have to do any pasting yourself. [*]Ammonia Level? [*]Nitrite Level? [*]Nitrate level? [*]Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines)? [*]Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines)? [*]Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? [*]Water temperature? [*]Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? [*]What is the name and size of the filter(s)? [*]How often do you change the water and how much? [*]How many fish in the tank and their size? [*]What kind of water additives or conditioners? [*]Any new fish added to the tank? [*]What do you feed your fish and how often? [*]Any medications added to the tank? [*]Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? [*]Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? Edited August 9, 2008 by Lynda Von G
