How old are they now, Dragon? And where in FL? The further down south, the less you have to worry about "cold" winters - they are a laugh. :rofl3

Personally any fry that is under 5-6 months by the time it gets into January or February (the coldest months in FL), I would leave them inside for their first winter. If they are older than that, and the pond is deep enough (more than 2 ft), then they should be fine. I had fry outside during the winter in South FL and Orlando, and they did just fine. Of course, they were hatched outside to begin with, and never came from an indoor aquarium, so they were generally already hardier and used to outside temps. :)
