A Five Week Rota...

EDIT: Give me a second...I pressed post instead of preview. DD=

Ok...so...I'm a very disorganised person, but if I've got a list to work from, I'm fine...so I've been compiling lists and lists of things to do with goldies! xD

This time, it is the turn of the menu and cleaning schedule!

I'd like to know what you think...I've tried to fit in a once weekly dose of fruit, two weekly doses of vegetables, a variety of craptastic shop bought food, a treat and a weekly pea and fast weekend...along with a half clean and a full clean every week.

The pellets and flakes are different brands cycled as well.

I put the treat foods on the day before a fasting day because they take a little longer to fully digest, so it should be a good amount of time between the treat and the peas.

I'm not sure about the orange, though...I know citrus can sometimes mess with your water and I would obviously do something if it did...but I can't see where else to put it that would make better sense. xD

Before I start...it seems like a LOT of food...but I do feed extraordinarily TINY amounts! (By tiny I mean a pellet per fish sometimes! :teehee )

Week One

Monday: Colour enhancing pellets // Banana

Tuesday: Sunken flakes // Cucumber

Wednesday: Pellets // Cauliflower

Thursday: Bloodworms // 25% Water Change

Friday: Fasting day

Saturday: Peas // Peas

Sunday: 40% Water change // Pellet/Flake mix

Week Two

Monday: Colour enhancing pellets // Orange

Tuesday: Sunken flakes // Baked potato

Wednesday: Pellets // Broccolli

Thursday: Brine Shrimp // 25% Water change

Friday: Fasting day

Saturday: PEas // Peas

Sunday: 40% Water change // Pellet/Flake mix

I'm sorry for the double post...but I couldn't edit that first post and I didn't want to make a totally new thread. ): Here it is:

Wow, you are much more organized than I am. I just feed whatever fruit or veggie I have on hand or whatever my daughter is eating. She thinks it's funny that her fish like veggies and sometimes she'll eat them better if I feed her fish some.

That's what I was going to say! I don't plan nearly this much! But, don't get me wrong, this is great! The ONLY thing I would say don't on is the corn. Fish can't digest corn and it's not really nutritious anyway. And, as long as you really aren't feeding too much by feeding twice a day. Otherwise, it's great!

And that, 32flavors, is a brilliant idea for getting kids to eat their veggies!

Really? I thought they were like us and if you took the shell off and just squished the insides out, it was fine.

Ok...I'll replace that with something else. =]

If I left it without a list, I'd never feed them. D=

And I'd never feed me or my daughter. xD

I'm so chaotic if I don't plan things to the T.
