Regular Member misty_blue16137 Posted July 3, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2008 I'd swear I saw this somewhere before but darned if I can find it now. Can Prazi Pro be used with Betta's and if so should they be treated as a precaution like new Goldfish or not? Back when I had Betta's never even heard of flukes let alone treating for them as a precaution or otherwise. I'm assuming they can get them. Can't do anything till I get out today to get him a bigger home anyway as he is in a 2 gallon acrylic I had given to me and just stuck away in the basement. Thanks! Regular Member thoughtsofjoy Posted July 3, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2008 That is a very good question. I am assuming that bettas can get flukes the same as goldfish. Thomas thinks they are a generic parasite that can infect any fish. However, I await the answer as well.

Regular Member daryl Posted July 4, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 4, 2008 I see no reason why it should not be able to be used with bettas. I have successfully used it with guppies (even tiny fry), and angelfish and gouramis. They all get flukes and the Prazi cleared it nicely. I would be interested in any betta keeper's opinions.
