Regular Member Trinket Posted June 29, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2008 Well since its the lid and doesn't come in touch with the fish you can use a cloth soaked in detergent and hot water. Then you could run a strong solution of bleach through the cloth and wipe that over it, rinsing after. The bleach should get rid of any lingering bacterial decay smell.
Guest shineangel
thank you , i was kind of worried about the smell effecting the fish if i used something strong, i ended up using baking soda with hot water and that seems to have done the trick?
