Regular Member Chrissy_Bee Posted June 27, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 27, 2008 So I moved over a week ago and my goldies moved into their new 50 gallon (from a 30 gallon) at the same time. Yesterday I realized that I haven't really done much tank maintence (gasp! )so I rushed to get my test kits. The water is perfect. I'm so pleased. I guess 3 fish in a 50 gallon is a good thing! My nitrates are the lowest they've ever been, and it looks like the kH is finally at a decent level too. Between the water here, the big tank, the bare bottom and new plants, I think I may finally have a nice, stable tank going on!!

Regular Member Trinket Posted June 27, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 27, 2008 Well done. Cycles are so funny. Just when we expect them to crash they don't! The good news may be a better kH in your new water supply. That is very handy.
