Where are PM's on this board? I can't find them.

I tried to PM daryl this afternoon cause I didn't want to put her on the spot about the fish, and could not figure it out at all.

hmmmm it seems i am not able to PM!!!! I just got this error message....

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board

Maybe it is because i am new here?!?!?

200 is a lot of posts just to be able to PM someone!!! HO hum.... (this is one more toward the total i guess)

My hikari does not mush-out...it gets squishy and most of the time floats just below the surface...(I also soak it for a few minutes in a teaspoon)so not exactly sinking. But my fish only like making a mess of their plants. Atleast Echo does. .__. Hope that may help.

I wouldn't worry about putting her on the spot, she has been into fish keeping for longer than I have been alive I am pretty sure. I have never seen her on the spot in a bad way. :)

I guess we need to post more.

I can't think of enough to say though.

Once you get involved in the board that post count shoots right up and before you know it all kinds of good things are happening. :)

Lady D, that had nothing to do with Daryl's ability to keep fish. Her credentials or how long she has been in the hobby.

I didn't want to put her on the spot by asking her to sell me some fish - publically.

why don't you sell me some!

Thank you EarthMother, that's good to know. That is one brand of food that our local pet shop can order for me.

Thank you again

I started being active during two weeks of (non-active) vacation, and because of the continuous addition of new topics and comments, it was actually rather hard not to spend too much time on the forum (even so I got to where I am now in about 3 or 4 weeks  ). (darn my girlfriend for telling me I to get my own acount; she's already regretting it :lol2 ).

This rule is to insure that people have demonstrated themselves to be committed members of this community before they have the ability to PM and/or email others. This is because there have been problems in the past with new members spamming others with advertising and even pornographic materials. This rule helps make Koko's a safe place for young members and overall better for us all.

the preceeding public service announcement was brought to you by the makers of Pro-Gold..........

Corrie, I just don't get you. We come here to have fun, to make friends, and to become better goldfish keepers by learning. Koko and the moderators have worked hard to create a community that is safe for kids and friendly to all. Sometimes this means making and enforcing rules that seem silly to newcomers.

I have done my best to continue to participate in a friendly conversation with you, despite what many have perceived as your snippiness. We would all love to benefit from your knowledge and experience and to assist you as you move into keeping goldfish, but we would really appreciate it if you would get on board with the respectful tone that the rest of us use with one another. I am not going to waste any more time carefully crafting responses to your unfriendly posts.

I'm serious.

So true, I almost had to drag him away from the computer :exactly

The good thing is that he starts liking black moors :lol2

I have decided to close this thread.

I think it has run it's course in terms of information needed and provided.

The rest is becoming tiresome.

For anyone wishing to have online arguments and needling sessions, there are many other forums available - Koko's is for people wishing to engage in friendly and helpful discussions about fishkeeping.
