my fat lionhead recently was bottom sitting and breathing heavily/quickly. even when the light was turned on, he did not move much. i noticed his eyes were really popping out with a white rim around them. i looked it up online and confirmed it was pop-eye and i was sure he was going to die soon. shortly after, he perked up, started swimming but not eating but then went back to bottom sitting.

the next day he was fine, no pop-eye, no bottom sitting, breathing and eating normally.

should i be concerned about something internal? i do not think there is such a thing as 1 day pop-eye?
