Regular Member Petperson04 Posted January 5, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted January 5, 2008 I have a container of "Tetra" brand freeze-dried bloodworms that I've been feeding about 2-3 times a week, and as I was reading a recent thread that mentioned parasites in tubifex worms, I got a little concerned about my own bloodworms. Please let me know!
Regular Member alexiscool Posted January 5, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted January 5, 2008 Tubifex worms are grow in dirty ponds... but bloodworms are safe because they are frezze dried and are hatch in clean fresh water. I use freeze dried bloodworms to..Just make sure you soak them first

Regular Member Daniel Posted January 5, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted January 5, 2008 if you are using frozen bloodworms they are generally fine as long they are clean from anything and no pesticides etc were used during the freeze drying period there can be parasites in live bloodworms though
