Since I have 4 orandas Ive decided to pair them up.. Jasmine is with Pumpkin.. Xiuying is with Ralph.. Tonight after my water change in Xiuying's tank The pom pom Ralph started the nose up the behind and chassing.. I know that Ralph is a boy and now I believe Xiuying is female.. The tank temps have also warmed up since last week.. we have been having nice warm weather here in central FLA.. so the tanks are now at 78-80 during the day.. night drops about 1 degree maybe'.. In Xiuying's tank I placed a fish safe basket in there with fake plants in the middle with an extra airstone.. this tank is barebottom but now I guess it's time to hear the river rocks and marbels rolling :) also I noticed that Xiuying will chase back.. what could this meen?..Ralph is surely interested.. maybe Xiuying is annoyed?

Just based from my goldfish behavior, I have noticed that my black moor is the most aggressive one in my tank. He is obviously male. Then I have my other two ryukins and a ranchu. The ranchu is small and gets the nose pushing from the Moor. But since he is still rather small, it tells me nothing. But one ryukin gets bumped by the Moor and other Ryukin. I noticed the female Ryukin does not do this back to the others. But, the male moor and male ryukin will follow eachother and do this if one is annoyed by the other trying to bump him. So perhaps you may have two males.
