your so lucky oldhag!

i havent seen this done, but if you could put a boiler or a water tank behind that wall that can be used for water changes? ive seen this done sometimes for ponds, where theres a large tank that can be filled up, and then slowly empty itself into a pond, while excess water is used to water plants or something... lol i might be getting a second tank if i get good marks at school this year, so my creative jucies are already flowing...

Sweet, Annette! :thumbs That is a fishkeeper's dream come true. That wall behind Tank 1 on the drawing, is that a divider for some storage behind it? I wonder if you could squeeze in a big rubbermaid somewhere... :D

Browny is beautiful (all your fish are), but I love his coloration the most. Especially how his dark fins pop against his brown color. :heart

i know the perfect things to do:

1-giant air stone!

2-a filter intake tube

3-feeding ring

4-a ceiling light

5-some plants

6-some gravel (soft, decor only, no UG filter plz!)

7-is this too much?

that would make your room look like a perfect.......fishtank

:rofl:rofl

Well I have a light in the ceiling, and I will add a huge live plant.... we'll see!!!

:D Looking fabulous. Aren't the fish a bit shocked with the new glass house?I wonder if they'll be a little skittish for afew days until they get used to that. They all look so good and Brownie is such a beauty :heart Good job.

Yes, they are a bit skittish but not terrified! They are doing fine and I'm so happy. Both Minibus and Brownie has grown huge, Angus is already big, he is working hard on his wen growth! Will take pics of that later!

Here are 2 pics from today, finished so far. Will add the heater and a plec later.

Wow I just noticed this thread. What a beautiful room. Being able to create a theme room based on one's hobby is something everyone wants to do but almost never fortunate enough to be able to. You were lucky enough to have this opportunity and you did a wonderful job with it. :)

Everything looks amazing. Brownie is gorgeous but Angus will always be my favorite, there's just something about him.

The room looks amazing and I love seeing 'works in progress' Did you stick the plant over the drain? Great camoflauge idea if you did. I love that blue color. Have you thought of possibly doing a border of fish? That could be cute too. Fantastic job and the fish look great.

Yes the plant is over the drain, hubbys idea! The plant is from our old job, that is no more, just a happy memory...

I have fishy posters on the other wall and a fishy pillow in the chair, and some more... :D
