:rofl I just had to put that title!

Water changes every other day isn't kind to algae. In a way I miss the green water but I love that I can't now see my fish!

Rhykiru- The orange one is a male comet and the red/white one is female possibly koi/common mix, but I won't be sure unless she grows some more. In that case I might have to find her a new home. The orange male is about 8-9 inches and the female is about 8 inches long and about 3 inches tall!

I just figured out

u have 6 fish in a 46

and i have 5 in a 45

Also how do u do your water changes?

I have 8 fish not 6. :( Soon it will be six and then that will work! :D

Water change: Every other day. 50-75% change. I put the siphon out the window until the water level is down to what I want then I get the hose and put it through the window and fill the tank up while adding stuff to remove chloramine and chlorine.

look that look? I'm surprised I caught that. Its late and I'm tired.

Thank you. I really want to add some larger slate/quartz or some root looking driftwood but I don't have the money so I worked with what I already had.

oh really 8 wow that is a lot......and that is a lot of water to change (looks like i need to buy more buckets
