It just seems to be one problem after another with my fish!, I got home from work today to find loads of eggs covering the bottom of my tank! (See pic below)

It seems like almost every other week since Christmas My girls have been laying, the last few times there was just a few (about 30-40) but now there are hundreds! The bottom of the tank is literally littered with them!

I've separated the girls from the boys by using a divider (This was done last weekend) Will this be the last of their eggs or are female Goldies like Chickens who can lay without males being present? Or will the fact that the girls know that the boys are in the same water as them keep them laying?

WOW! Those are a TON of eggs!! :krazy:

That isn't even half of them, the part that the females are in is about 3ft and the entire bottom is littered with them.

small_ranchu: oh i hope nope, i would love to have bred my fish but my Lionhead must get so full of eggs that she she bottom sits for days before.
