Removing Scratches

My 20 gallon has scratches both on the inside and outside of the tank. The tank was made in 91 and has had 2 previous abusive owners. There is scratches on the inside of my tank that has algae in them, and it really gets on my nerves. Also, there is a huge scratch up the back on the outside. Is there any way to remove these? The tank is All-Glass.

A glass tank with scratches is not really something that can have scratches removed. It would require more effort and cost than the tank is most likely worth.

Well I did a search, and what I found helped. I took pure baking soda and mixed it with water until it became a paste. I buffed it into the scratches and viola!! Most of them are now invisible. I am going to try to get a new tank, eventually.

Thanks anyaways, Daryl.
